Welcome to the Localworks Block Party Library!
This library is a collection of equipment that Wheat Ridge residents can reserve and borrow to utilize at their neighborhood block parties or other events.
As this library is a shared resource, we request that you treat our equipment with respect and care, and to please notify us promptly if equipment requires maintenance or replacement.
**The Block Party Library will be closed for winter break from December 20th-January 6th 2024. No reservations will be accepted during this time.
FAQs
How does it work?
Wheat Ridge residents can create an account which enables them to reserve and borrow equipment. Once an account has been created and an equipment reservation has been made, we’ll notify you when your items are ready for pickup and share details about how to access our equipment storage onsite at Localworks/Clear Creek Makerspace. Residents are responsible for equipment pickup, transport, and return. Equipment must be reserved at least 7 days in advance, and must be returned by the due date. Residents are expected to return items in the same condition in which they were loaned, normal wear and tear expected.
Process overview:
Create an account >> e-sign “Equipment Check-out Agreement” and “Liability Waiver” >> make equipment reservations (at least 7 days in advance) >> get notified when items are ready for pickup >> pickup items >> use items >> return items by due date
